18.06.2020 School Dinner Update
18/06/2020 - Please remember that if your child is in school then you can order them a grab bag school lunch via the School Grid system. These meals must be ordered online by parents, children cannot order in the classroom at the moment. Please see the picture below for an example of what is included with the grab bags. If you need help using the School Grid system then please contact the school office.
21/05/2020 - As of Monday 1st June if your child is eligible for income related free school meals and they are attending school then you will need to order a grab bag meal on the School Grid/Dolce system. If your child is attending school then you will not receive the free school meal vouchers. If your child is not attending school, and they are eligible for income related free school meals, then you will still be sent the vouchers as usual.
If your child is eligible for universal free school meals (all children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2) and they are attending school then you can order a grab bag meal on the School Grid/Dolce system. If children want to bring their own packed lunch then this is fine.
The only lunch option from Dolce whilst in school is a grab bag and these are only available for the children mentioned above. All other children will need to bring their own packed lunch.
Grab bags must be ordered through the School Grid system, they cannot be ordered via the school office.
If you have any questions or need help accessing the dinner system then please contact email@example.com.
22/04/2020 - As of Monday 27th April the supermarket Aldi will be added to the options of where you can spend your free school meal vouchers.
14/04/2020 - In line with DfE guidance we are pleased to confirm that the free school meal vouchers will be provided for the period over the Easter holidays to those who are entitled. The orders have been uploaded to Edenred however please bear with us as there is a delay in the issuing of the voucher codes. Thank you for your patience.
07/04/2020 - Despite our efforts to upload all the free school meal vouchers last week when the scheme was launched we understand that parents have not yet received their vouchers. We have been in contact with Edenred to try and progress with the release of the vouchers and await further contact from them. We can only apologise for this delay - please bear with us. In the meantime please remember to check your junk mail, spam and trash folders within your e mails as well. The codes will come from firstname.lastname@example.org
02/07/2020 - After Easter we will no longer be providing grab bags for free school meals. Instead we will be using the government free school meal voucher scheme.
Please see below the frequently asked questions sheet regarding this scheme.
The people that are already eligible for income related free school meals (not universal free school meals) will receive a weekly e-code via e mail.
Please read the faq sheet below and note the advice to take a photograph of the bar code on your phone in case you cannot get connection whilst in the supermarket.
Please also remember that as free school meals are not provided over the school holidays, the vouchers will not be either.
If you have any questions please contact us on email@example.com
